The Trip from Hell !!!

What started out as a fun trip that everyone was looking forward to ended up being the worse trip ever! We went up to Bear Lake for a fun filled weekend up at the Deelstras cabin. We should of known when we almost got into an accident on the way up that we should of just turned around and gone home. A little bit after we got up there and settled in we decied to put Dans boat in the water (dan in my father in law to be). So we hooked the boat up to the tractor and pulled in down to the beach. they had never launched there boat this was and they forgot to put the pins in the breaks to keep them from locking up. so as we started to back up in the water the breakes on the trailer locked up causing the tractor to fly back basically pinning Sam between the boat and the tractor. Well sam was determined to get the boat in the water at this time not knowing that the breaks were locked. so as he did wheelies in the tractor for the next 15 min untill they realised it was locked. So to get the breaks to unlock they had to bring the truck down, plug it in and turn them off. So we got the truck down and turned the breaks off and when we went to pull the truck out it got stuck!

So then we hooked the tractor to the front of the truck to pull it all out of the water, when you will never believe what happened. yep the tractor got stuck also!!!! so then we had to get another tractor to come pull the stuck tractor out. so after that they continued to try to pull the truck and boat out when i gave them the bright idea to use both of the tractors at the same time side by side to pull the truck out. And it worked!

And because there were alread tracks where the truck and tractor were stuck before we had to get a bigger tractor to come and get the boat out of the water. so after that we decied to just pay the money and put the boat in at a ramp.

So thinking that all of our toubles are over. on saturday morning the boys decide to take the boat out one last time while patty (spencers mom) and i pack up. right as i was about to get in the shower i get a call from spencer telling to me go get him mom cause another boat just ran into them. My stomac dropped i was imaging them out in the middle of the lake with a huge hole in the side of the boat and it sinking. So let just say after two stupid rangers, having to wate all day before we could pull the boat off the lake, and us all sick over the damage on the boat. we got in at 11 only to wanting to go the sleep and put it all behind us.
